WONDERING WHETHER YOUR TEAM ARE DELIVERING YOUR GOALS?

Wake up at night worried that your message has not been clear, that the team is delivering the wrong solutions?

This is stakeholder management, believe it or not.

Your development or innovation team are major stakeholders but all business stakeholders need to be aligned.

Sending the message is an art, but so is being sure that the message has been received!  This is about culture and relationships.

  • Remind people that doing the job is not enough, they have to be seen to be doing the job

  • Remind the team the they not only have to say what they have done, they have to demonstrate that it is what is required

​

Free up the experts to deliver but ensure that transparency is part of the culture.

Staff must:

  • Say what they are going to do

  • Do it

  • Immediately declare when they are not doing it

  • Make it as measurable as possible

  • Provide the proof

  • Build trust, no news is good news
